This is a illustration project I made for Mapoteca, a unique cartography brand that collaborates with artists to create thematic maps. I was in charge of designing the Argentina's Gastronomic Map. I had to make research about the different regions of Argentina, their food traditions, and the history of the gastronomic influences of the native peoples mixed with the immigrant traditional dishes. This map includes a list with the variations between the different 14 meat empanadas, another list with some of the national food festivals, and also, fun facts about the meals and their history./esp.
Este es un proyecto de ilustración que hice para Mapoteca, una marca de cartografía que colabora con artistas para crear mapas temáticos. A mí me tocó de diseñar el Mapa Gastronómico de Argentina. Tuve que hacer una investigación sobre las diferentes regiones de Argentina y la historia de la influencias gastronómicas de los pueblos originarios combinadas con los platos tradicionales que trajeron los inmigrantes. Este mapa incluye una lista con las 14 diferentes empanadas de carne del país, otra lista con fiestas nacionales gastronómicas y también datos curiosos sobre las comidas y su historia.
